Bokeh Technique

Image
At the card class in May 2015 we tried the Bokeh technique. It is a type of technique you can do on the computer with your digital photos.  To get the look on your cards.  You need to have two sponge daubers and two inks.  Ink up your sponge daubers and ink up a card.  Leave to dry. Punch a circle in a scrap piece of cardstock.  Then get a sponge dauber and white pigment ink.  Place the cut outline of the circle on the card and sponge the circle shape, do this a few times. Experiment by over laping the circle.  Add embellishments. Ingredients needed: Sponge daubers Two exclusive ink pads White pigment ink Circle punch Cardstock To purchase these products please go to my website www.marloes.shopctmh.co.nz

602 Photos Printed

Image
Well I made the most of the Harvey Norman photo print special which ended on Sunday.  I organised my photos onto a USB stick and went into Harvey Norman and printed 602 photos!!! Last night I sat and organised them into the groups for which albums they were going into.  I have 3 children so I do an album each for them. I also make a family album.  You may ask: how do I find time to scrapbook with 3 children.  I do a mix of pocket pages and 12x12 pages in the albums.  Pocket pages makes scrapbooking a lot faster, as all you need to do is slot the photos into a pocket on the page and add journalling cards and having the option to do some 12x12 pages gives it some flexibility to be creative.  Here are some example below of Pocket album pages: I put my pocket album pages into D-ring albums, for the month of Feb 2015 there is a special offer of buy 1 album get 1 half price.
