Wow I can't believe it has been over 2 years since I last posted a blog on this Blog. It's been a while... Lots has happened in the last 2 years. Yes I am still with Close To My Heart. I am now a Senior supervisor as I have signed up a couple of new consultants this year. It has been a rather exciting year. One of my consultants is so excited this excitement has rubbed of on me. Hence this blog post. I still love to craft and share my passion for paper craft. I continue to hold crops, craft classes, camps and retreats. This year instead of going to Hanmer Springs for retreat. We held camps locally. One at Teapot Valley and another at Kimi-ora Eco Resort near Kaiteriteri. Such fun was had, that we are doing it all again at the same venues next year 2020. I am holding my second Crafters Destash Market for this year. Coming up on the 20th October at the Stoke Memorial hall. 9am till 1pm. There will be all sorts of raw craft material to buy as well as a cuppa and cake
At the card class in May 2015 we tried the Bokeh technique. It is a type of technique you can do on the computer with your digital photos. To get the look on your cards. You need to have two sponge daubers and two inks. Ink up your sponge daubers and ink up a card. Leave to dry. Punch a circle in a scrap piece of cardstock. Then get a sponge dauber and white pigment ink. Place the cut outline of the circle on the card and sponge the circle shape, do this a few times. Experiment by over laping the circle. Add embellishments. Ingredients needed: Sponge daubers Two exclusive ink pads White pigment ink Circle punch Cardstock To purchase these products please go to my website www.marloes.shopctmh.co.nz
